The Edwina Winters Memorial Retreat at Lake Leland Available to Arc Members and to individuals with developmental disabilities for meetings, gatherings and camping.

Our facility provides: conference center, cabins, two sheltered picnic areas, tent sites, three RV sites with power and water and first class bathrooms. This tranquil retreat on the shores of Lake Leland provides an excellent location for a quiet “get away” from the pressures and congestion of everyday activities. The retreat is located in the foothills of the Olympic Mountains in eastern Jefferson County approximately six miles north of Quilcene, Washington.

Lake Leland offers varied recreational activities for residents and visitors alike. Easy access from state Highway 101 brings many people to Jefferson County Park for camping and picnicking. The nearby County Park maintains a public boat launch, fishing dock, and swimming area. The lake supports an excellent warmwater fishery, "the best in the region" according to Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. Lake Leland offers visitors a peaceful, rural environment for those who want to relax and just enjoy nature.

Location and Areas of Interest: Approximately 45 miles from Bremerton, 20 miles from Port Townsend, 6 miles north of Quilcene. Close to the Olympic National Forest, historic Port Townsend, Olympic Game Farm in Sequim and Port Angeles ferries to Victoria British Columbia, Canada.

The site is completely fenced and lighted for safety and security and is monitored 24 hours a day.
